We had a positive experience overall. It was our first dental visit at LPDA. Our appointments were right on time. The staff was efficient and helpful at the front desk. Our dental hygienist was good at explaining things to my two boys (3 and 5). Dr R was sweet, with child-friendly interactions when checking out their teeth and clarified things for me as the parent. It was smooth scheduling our next cleaning in 6 months. My boys loved the prizes they received at the end. They also loved playing with toys in the waiting room before our visit and at the end when I was checking out. We are happy with our first visit here. More
We have been coming here at least twice a year since my youngest two were 1. They are now 13 and 15. It is always a pleasant experience for the kids. I hope it will give them the habit to carry on with preventative dental care once they are young adults. Best I can do ;-) More
The dentist handled my daughter's anxiety about tooth extraction flawlessly! What could have been a total disaster turned out to be positive experience due to the extra time the dentist took to make sure my daughter was comfortable, informed and had some semblance of control every single step of the way. I have 3 kids and LPDA always can schedule them to be seen at the same time. Their staff are friendly and interested in the kids. Though we greatly limit screen time the child friendly movies that play during their cleanings are a wonderful distraction for those who especially don't love going to the dentist. More
I have been taking my 7 year old here for years and have always had the best experiences. The staff are always so friendly, appointments are easy to get, and she loves getting gold tokens to use at the vending machines they keep in the lobby. We were recently seen by Meaghan for sealants. My daughter has ADHD and ASD and can sometimes ask a MILLION questions, but Meaghan handled every pause and question with patience and kindness. I was anxious that this would be a scary experience for my daughter, but it turned out to be one of the best appointments we've ever had! Thank you LPDA and Meaghan! More
I cannot say enough good about this place. My boys love coming here. The staff is kind and they seriously stepped up to help me when my youngest shut the car door on his thumb and I panicked. They cleaned him up and calmed him down and got him through his cleaning and were just sincerely kind. I am disappointed they no longer take my insurance and if I didn’t have four kids to pay for I would just pay the extra myself. This was our first visit to LDPA and hands down was the best dental experience for my kiddos. We came from another local practice that I felt was not doing enough and monitoring their teeth correctly. Dr. Mark and his team did a fabulous job caring for my boys from X-rays to cleanings and consultations for follow ups. Dr Ross is really great. We came in for my sons filling and after he took a look at my sons tooth he saw that it just needed a sealant. Im so glad that he checked it and didn't need a repair. Im also glad that he saw that my sons wisdom teeth are coming out. This gives me hope that I can hold off surgical procedures until the teeth are completely out (these were formerly impacted and I was told by our dental insurance that its not covered by them and that its medical). More
I love coming here with my daughter . They are so patient and are very relatable to my daughter by telling her stories and making her comfortable while cleaning her teeth ! Made me feel like I made the best choice choosing them to care for my child teeth! They also explain to me very well how to care for her teeth and recommend some steps while doing so ! We just recently went for a checkup and cleaning. I was super impressed with the hygienist she was very kind and engaging with my child. The doctor was wonderful as well. Both were wonderful with my son. I understand that the virus has changed things and how there may need to be different procedures in place for the medical and dental world but I just feel like some of this is over the top. We stood outside in the cold for 10 minutes because we had to wait to call and let them know we were there before Entering. I never had a response after calling 3 times. So I walked in and waited. It just seemed a little much considering all the other precautions in place with shields and hand sanitizer and arrows in the floor. Just ready for this to be over. Kids are super weirded out by it and it just makes it a very strange experience. More

From the moment you walk into the office, everyone is so nice and patient. I have taken my son to my family dentist several times and he wouldn’t open his mouth for them. Today, he let them brush his teeth, floss and do a fluoride treatment. He didn’t want to leave the play area and he was relaxed the whole time (mom included). I highly recommend this pediatric dentist. We had a great experience. More

During the visit, I felt like I was truly being listened to, as well as my daugther, and the cleaning and exam was very thorough. My 3 yr old daughter had her first dentist appointment today. We had an incredible experience and I highly recommend this place. From the people at the front desk, dental hygienist, to the dentist, everyone made such an effort to make my daughter feel comfortable. We immediately felt welcomed into their facility with the friendly staff at the front desk. Mikayla loved playing in the playroom while we waited to be called back. Once called back to the room, she hopped right ont...o the chair with a smile on her face. I could tell she was nervous, but by asking her lots of questions about Minnie Mouse on her pants, Belle on her shirt, Toy Story on the tv in front of her, what her puppy’s name was, etc... it kept her distracted enough to feel more comfortable. She loved picking out her new toothbrush & selecting which fun flavor of toothpaste she’d like to try for today’s cleaning. They miraculously counted her teeth, cleaned & polished them & even flossed without one single tear or compliant. I attribute our success to the team’s patience & care to explain each tool to her. She even high fives Dr. Ross at the end. She got to join the “no cavity club” complete with a certificate & an entry into a drawing to win a prize. And then when we checked out at the desk, she also received a gold token to place into 1 of the several available toy dispensers for a fun take-home prize of their choice. This will thankfully be our new dental home for my kids & I’m just so very grateful that we found a team who I can trust to get her through it AND have a good time... leaving with a smile. We love this pediatric dental practice!! The customer service is great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. And, they are super organized and efficient! In the several years that I have taken my son here, I barely know what the waiting room looks like because the practice keeps patients moving quickly through appointments and on time. How many health services can you say that about? Very few. They provide additional services (email and text reminders) that make it easy to keep on top of your child's dental care.
