What to Expect at Your Appointment
LPDA strives to make every office visit exceed your expectations. Each visit is different, just as each child is different. Whether you're visiting our office for the first time with your infant, or you have been referred here by another doctor, we will do our best to make your first visit, and each visit to follow, as easy as possible.
If your child is visiting us for the very first time, our goal is to answer all of your questions and make your child feel at ease. The doctor will go over your child's medical history and do an exam. They may do their first cleaning and fluoride treatment as well. As your child begins to feel more comfortable, we can have them see the hygientists for cleaning and X-rays before the doctor comes to do the exam.
If your child was referred to us by another doctor, we will evaluate any information sent from their office. The doctor will come meet you and go over your child's medical hisotry before doing an exam. Many times, additional X-rays are needed to help us create a treatment plan for your child. The doctor will answer all of your questions and present their treatment plan and recommendations for future visits.
