The doctors at Lancaster Pediatric Dental Associates are contracted as preferred providers with the PPO dental insurance plans below. We are not contracted with any DMO or HMO plans. If your insurance plan is not listed, our practice will accept assignment of benefits if the insurance company will accept assignment to the dentist.
Treatment Down Payment
If the scheduled time for your treatment equals or exceeds 90 minutes, we will require a 25% down payment upon scheduling your appointment. This down payment is non-refundable and will be applied to your total treatment cost.
Please provide at least 48 hours notice for any appointment changes. If you reschedule more than 48 hours prior to your appointment, you may apply your 25% down payment to your rescheduled treatment. If you cancel more than 48 hours prior to your appointment time, your 25% down payment may be applied as a credit to your account.
If the reschedule/cancellation occurs less than 48 hours prior to your appointment time, the down payment will be forfeited and cannot be applied to future treatment.
Due to ever changing insurance coverage, we recommend that you check with your insurance carrier for participation and coverage before your visit. For those who do not have insurance, we offer a discount when payment is made by cash or check in full at the time services are rendered.
We are in network with the following insurance carriers:
- Assurant Employee Benefits
- Blue Cross Dental
- Delta Dental
- PA CHIP (Blue Cross Dental & United Concordia)
- United Concordia
We are now out of network with Aetna PPO, Cigna PPO, and Guardian. However, you can still see us! We are still accepting Aetna, Guardian, and Cigna patients. The change on your end is that you will be subject to slightly different rates for your portion of care. Please give our office a call if you have any questions. We’ll be happy to do a complimentary benefits check for you.
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. As a courtesy to you, we will file your insurance claim for you if we have received all of your insurance information on the day of the appointment. Please be familiar with your insurance benefits. We will collect from you the amount not paid by your insurance at the time of service. By law your insurance company is required to pay each claim within 30 days of receipt. We file all insurance claims electronically, so your insurance company will receive each claim within days of treatment. You are responsible for any balance on your account, whether insurance has paid or not.

During a consultation at our Lancaster, PA facility, a member of our financial team will work with you and Delta Dental to determine your coverage and out-of-pocket costs. Our goal is to help make your dental care as easy and affordable as possible.
Please understand that we file dental insurance as a courtesy to our patients. We are not responsible for how your insurance company handles its claims or for what benefits they pay on a claim. We can only assist you in estimation on your portion of the cost of treatment. We can not guarantee what your insurance will or will not do with each claim. We also cannot be responsible for any errors in filing your insurance. Once again, we file claims as a courtesy to you.

Orthodontic Treatment Financing
For orthodontic patients, we have options! The cost of orthodontic treatment can vary from case to case. That is why we give our patients many financial options and help each patient select the option that works best for them. We work with financing options through CareCredit, as well as many insurance carriers. Our services typically range from $5,000 – $6,000 for both traditional braces and Invisalign cases. We also offer financing for as low as $150 per month (depending on terms). You also may be able to use your HSA/FSA funds for orthodontic treatment.
